This system saves rack space, wiring and support costs by housing six independent industrial computers in a single 4U chassis. The industrial computer uses the Trenton BP6FS6605 multi-segment backplane and six, dual processor, dual-core, system host boards with low-profile CPU cooling solutions (Trenton SLTs). In the current system, four standard off the shelf power supplies and a custom designed power delivery/monitoring board enables power sharing and redundancy while monitoring the system for optimum load balancing. Production versions include pre-loaded application software and a custom paint scheme to match the project's specific requirements.
