  • The TRC2004 Rugged Military Computer

    The TRC2004 rugged military computer is a ideal system solution for government & defense applications. The system’s MicroATX (uATX) motherboard and the rugged computer design enables deployment across a wide spectrum of applications.  The TRC2004 rugged military computer features a dual or single-processor motherboard with Intel® Xeon® processors.

    Motherboard options include the dual-processor JXM7031 and the single-processor JXMS7031 or JXMI8001, all of which are designed and manufactured by Trenton Systems to ensure maximum longevity that results in extended 2U rackmount computer system configuration stability.

    Additional 3rd party motherboards that are validated by Trenton for maximum performance are available with the TRC2004 rugged military computer.  This 19″ rackmount computer features front access /hot swap storage drives in a shallow depth 18″ enclosure.

    DESCRIPTION

    The Trenton TRC2004 is designed for applications that require outstanding system performance in a stable computing platform having extensive data storage capacity.  This rugged and yet lightweight (22.0 lbs/10.0 kg) industrial computer is constructed using a 2U, rackmount aluminum chassis with a shallow 18” depth for mounting in areas where component space is at a premium. The TRC2004 is configured with Trenton’s exclusive dual-processor, MicroATX long-life motherboard (JXM7031) with an available configuration option that supports a single CPU.  The dual-processor configuration supports one x16 PCI Express® 2.0/1.1 card as well as two additional x8 PCIe option cards. The system also supports a 32-bit/33MHz PCI option card.

    The TRC2004 system solution supports up to four storage drives, a slim-line optical media drive and offers multiple power supply configuration options. The 18.0” chassis depth enables support for the wide variety of full-length/low-profile option cards typically used in diverse applications such as military systems, industrial automation machinery and medical diagnostics.
