This 4U chassis features a front access power supply, a variety of hard drive and optical media drive bay configurations and hot swap cooling fans. The 26.4" depth of the chassis supports a variety of 14-slot form factor backplanes that support either a PICMG 1.3 system host board or a PICMG 1.0 single board computer. The term "14-slot" refers to a backplane's mechanical form factor. The backplane options for this chassis are listed to the left with a summary of each backplane's slot count.
