This 4U chassis features a front access power supply, a variety of hard drive and optical media drive bay configurations with hot swap cooling fans. The 26.4" depth of the chassis supports a variety of 20-slot form factor backplanes including the Trenton six-SHB segment backplane. PICMG 1.3 system host board or PICMG 1.0 single board computer options are supported in this chassis. The term "20-slot" refers to a backplane's mechanical form factor.
