The TMS4704 4U rackmount MIL-STD military computer is based on the TMS4702 design that is certified to a number of different MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461F environmental and electrical standards and test methods.  This enables the TMS4704 to be deployed with full confidence in many government & defense applications.  A rugged yet lightweight aluminum chassis is used in the TMS4704 and a corrosion-resistant coating is applied to both the chassis and fastening hardware.

Both long-life embedded motherboards manufactured by Trenton, as well as extended-life Intel® motherboard options, maximize application flexibility and performance by using COTS long-life components that support extended system deployments.  This fully designed and built in the U.S. rackmount computer enables extended PCI Express and PCI-X/PCI option card support in any military computing application.

The TMS4704 system is based on the TMS4702 design that was tested and certified to the following MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461F methods and procedures with a product configuration consisting of BXT7059 single board computer with two Intel® Xeon® E5-2448L processors and a BPG7087 backplane.

– Functional Shock — MIL-STD-810G, Tested to method 516.6, Procedure I, 20G, 11ms, 3 per axis
– Vibration – MIL-STD-810G, Tested to method 514.6, Procedure I, Category 4, 10-500Hz, 1.04Grms vertical, 0.204Grms transverse, and 0.704 longitudinal axis, 60min. per axis, operating and non-operating.  Also included in test method 514.6 is vibration – operation – Procedure 1 Category 12 for Jet aircraft and Category 13 for Propeller aircraft.

– High-Temp Operating: Tested MIL-STD-810G, Method 501.5, Procedure II, 55° C for 2hrs. after temperature stabilization
