The TRC4014 4U Rackmount Computer
This industrial rackmount computer features a variety of 14-slot PCI Express backplane and single or dual-processor single board computer configuration options. The flexible design also supports long-life embedded MicroATX (uATX) and ExtendedATX (EATX) motherboard system configurations. The most compelling feature of the TRC4014 is its ability to support up to 12, front access/hot swap storage drives via the system’s two 5.25″ drive bays.
Key features of the TRC4014 4U rackmount computer include:

The dual-processor single board computer options available with the TRC4014 4U rackmount computer include the BXT7059 SBC with Intel® Xeon® E5-2400 Series Processors and the JXT6966 SBC with Intel® Xeon® C5500 Processors. The single-processor TSB7053 with an Intel® Xeon® E3-1200 or E3-1200 v2 Processor is also available.
SBC or Motherboard
The TRC4014 is a rackmount chassis that features two 5.25″ vertical drive bays that may be populated with up to twelve storage drives. Board configuration options for this system includes either a single or dual-processor single board computer and a 14-slot backplane or a choice of either a uATX, or EATX embedded motherboard. This 19″ industrial rackmount computer features a lightweight, yet rugged design using a shallow depth 20″ aluminum enclosure. Power supply options include a fixed, single ATX/EPS or removable mini-redundant power supplies.
System Fan Control
The FSC1400 simultaneously controls and monitors tach pulses from up to four system fans. The controller also accepts fan speed commands (including on/off) and provides individual pass/fail fan status via an I2C interface to the computer’s PICMG 1.3 system host board. Fan speed can also be based on temperature via the provided thermal sensor.

Data Storage Capacity
The maximum system storage capacity is drive type, individual drive capacity and system configuration dependent. The TRC4014 supports up to 8, 2.5″, 15mm or 12, 2.5″, 9.5mm thick drives in front access drive carriers. TRC4014 systems configured with 1TB HDDs could provide a storage capacity of up to 12TB, and about 6TB of storage capacity when using 2.5” SSDs.
Note: Maximum system storage capacity will increase as HDD/SDD storage capacity increases.
Rear-mounted power supply options are available in the TRC4014 and they include:
