|The Trenton Cryptographic Systems (TCS) are a family of 19” rugged rackmount computers which are IBM®-approved x86 architecture servers featuring the IBM®4767-002 PCIe Cryptographic Coprocessor (Hardware Security Module (HSM)) as well as a choice of dual or single-processor single board computers in 2U and 4U height dimensions. Deploying cryptography is a crucial element of modern business applications, enabling the protection of privacy and confidentiality of data, ensuring its integrity and providing user accountability through digital signature techniques. The Trenton Cryptographic Systems enable secure Internet business transactions and are suited for a wide variety of cryptographic applications.|

|System Fan Control|
|The HDEC Series system host board and backplane utilized in this rackmount computer design control and monitor tach pulses from the system fans. The SHB and backplane’s fan controller circuitry also accepts fan speed commands (including on/off) and provides individual pass/fail fan status via the SHB’s I2C interface. Fan speed can also be based on temperature via the rackmount computer’s built-in thermal sensors.|

Four x16 PCI Express and four x4 PCIe (all x16 mechanical) slots, and all card slots are PCIe Gen3 capable
Note 1: All backplane slots are driven with native PCIe 3.0 links direct from the two processors on a compatible, dual-processor HDEC Series system host board such as Trenton’s HEP8225.
Note 2: Backplane slots PCIe2, PCIe4, PCIe6 and PCIe8 are each driven with a dedicated x16 PCIe Gen3 link from one of the SHB’s processors.
Note 3: Backplane slots PCIe1, PCIe3, PCIe5 and PCIe7 are each driven with a dedicated x4 PCIe Gen3 link from one of the SHB’s processors.
Note 4: The x16 PCIe interface card slots are placed in alternate backplane slot locations in order to accommodate double-wide PCIe plug-in cards such as the Telsa class of GPUs from NVIDIA.
Note 5: One of the PCIe x16 slots is utilzed by the IBM® 4767-002 PCIe Cryptographic Coprocessor Hardware Security Module.
