You Can Have Any Color You Want

Mr. Henry Ford was quoted as saying that, “A customer can have a car painted any color he wants as long as it’s black.” While it is true that most of the rackmount computer systems we ship do indeed have a black face plate, different chassis colors or special chassis labeling and logo requirements are not a problem for us. If you can dream it, we can make it happen!

With this custom 4U rackmount computer shown here and the 2U version shown below, the customer had a specific chassis color in mind in order for this custom system to blend in seamlessly with the other system components of the customer's GNSS simulator product. 

These systems ultimately find their way into transit cases such as the one illustrated here. The customer wanted the 2U or 4U rackmount computers to match the appearance of their new software defined GNSS simulator. Since these rugged computers get installed in a mobile transit case, it is critical that the rackmount computer hardware is built to withstand the rigors of a transit case system application.

The customer also had several GPU cards that needed to be integrated into the custom 4U rackmount computer. Trenton not only integrates these customer-driven option cards into these systems, but ensures that the PCI Express cards are firmly held in place as shown below in the photo illustrating the system's adjustable option card hold-down bar. The net result is that the customer gets the exact long-life, rugged computer needed to meet their end-user's specific application requirement. This custom process allows Trenton Systems' customers to focus on their unique product solutions and end user needs without having to worry about the computer hardware platform.
